Transform Your Teaching!!!
Welcome to the MICHCAT site and congratulations on your first step towards National Board Certification! This is a transformative experience designed to dramatically improve your practice and your students' learning. Our current project is a state-wide effort aimed at Priority Schools, Pre K- 3rd teachers in ELA. It is fully funded and candidates are well supported throughout the process.
We encourage you to explore the revised National Board for Professional Teaching Standards site for rich information about what exactly NBPTS is and what the process and commitment looks like. From there, contact us to learn more about our FULLY FUNDED project, if you qualify and how to get more information about efforts in your school and others. We look forward to talking to you and have several nationally certified teachers available to answer questions.
Information on NBPTS in Michigan, including information on Advanced Professional Education Certificate, may be of help to you as well.
